Willemstad. Curaçao Largest City

Direct flights from convenience gateways troughout Europe, United States, Caribbean and South America arrive at Hato International Airport.

Curaçao is not your typically caribbean destination, it's like a peace of northern Europe in the sudden Caribbean, it is different. A fascination combination of culture architectural styles and food. Even the landscape defy stereo type.

Curaçao is deep in the tropics se-rounded by water. Look one direction you see bright blue water expanding to the he-rising, look the other way, Curaçao's table mountain to rain adored by the signature "cadushi" cactus three. These are not images for a flee-ding blanks, instead linger. It is a great panorama. Take time to souk in this seen ray. Natures wonders background to this color full island culture. Indeed Curaçao is place for senses, smell, see and listen.

Willemstad

Willemstad is Curacao's largest city. A city unequal for it's mix of dutch and west indian culture. Willemstad is Amsterdam in the Caribbean. While the gables are dutch the pastel colors are distinctly Caribbean. Outside Holland, Willemstad is unreliable to have so many well crafted treasures from the 16000 en 17000. this treasures have made Willemstad the most remarkable Unesco heritage sides in the Caribbean. Willemstad is divided in 2 sections named Punda & Otrabanda with a harbour in the middle. Both rich in history and architecture. To experience both Otrobanda and Punda, get out and walk, take it slow. The trade wind, the salty air and the pedestrians on the streets season your experience here. It's part of the way of life. Walk by cafe's, shops and side walk vendors selling local snack food. Wonder trough the mehrow alice and back ways of old Curaçao. And turn after turn restore buildings offer for even more example of blended Caribbean architecture.
